About the Artist
Candida was born in Tacoma and currently resides in Seattle, WA. She is both a painter and a glassblower, with experience working on technical, large-scale pieces. Her desire to create art reflects through her bold colors, illustrations, and use of symbolism. Part of the Hilltop Artists Alumni Team, Candida has worked with the Tacoma Art Museum, Museum of Glass, and the Chihuly Glass Gardens.
About the Business
Rebeca Gonzalez has been bringing the delicious cuisine of Central Mexico to Seattle since 2004. Like her restaurant’s namesake Tenoch, who led his Mexica people from Aztlán to a new land, Rebeca’s restaurant moved from downtown to a cozy new space in Beacon Hill this year. Stop in for a hearty meal like pollo en pipian or ropa vieja, try one of the vegan options, or just enjoy watching a game and spending time with some good company at the full bar!
